MPsy Option

Students who wish to obtain a Master of Psychology (MPsy) are eligible to do so if they are enrolled in the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology program and have completed 53 credits, as well any other PsyD requirements. 

Upon approval of the CCAS Office of Graduate Studies, the degree of Master of Psychology will be awarded to students. Contact your advisor if you are interested in receiving the MPsy degree.

Course Requirements

Students who have earned 53 credits toward the PsyD may receive the degree of master of psychology (MPsy) degree. Students must have maintained a GPA of at least 3.00 (B) in all coursework taken following admission to the program.

Provisions for transfer of credit are the same as those of the doctor of philosophy program, except that up to 27 credits may be transferred into the program.
