Dr. Joe Kosowsky (he/him/his) graduated from the GW Professional Psychology Program and has returned as a Postdoctoral Fellow. While a student, he gained experience at various clinical sites including The Center Clinic, The Frost School, American University, and he completed his pre-doctoral internship at The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. His research interests include Attachment Theory, the LGBTQIA+ population, and the intersection of the two. His clinical interests include working with the LGBTQIA+ population, psychological assessments, mood disorders, identity development, relationship issues, trauma, as well as body image and eating concerns. At the program, his role includes seeing patients and conducting assessments, supervising students therapy and assessment cases, teaching an assessment practicum, and administrative roles within the Center Clinic.
