Carrie Holl

Dr. Carrie Holl, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist who is licensed to practice in Washington D.C. and the Commonwealth of Virginia. She received her Master’s degree from Pepperdine University where the focus of the program was on clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy.

She later obtained a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, an APA accredited program. She received specialty training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and marriage and family therapy.

Her supervised practicum training included work in hospital-based settings such as Harbor-UCLA, USC County Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente. She also received training in community mental health centers, therapeutic schools, and substance abuse counseling.

Her internship was completed at the VA Medical Center in Washington D.C. During her internship, she completed rotations in nursing home health care, behavioral medicine, and neuropsychological assessments.

Dr. Holl was also a post-doctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University Medical School. She received extensive training in the Behavioral Medicine unit and worked with the Meyer 6 Pain Program.

In addition to her Dupont Circle private practice, Dr. Holl is an adjunct clinical faculty member at Georgetown Hospital.
