Stacey Dershewitz

Dr. Dershewitz completed her clinical training at The George Washington University Professional Psychology Program. She returned to the Program as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2008-10.  Prior to graduating, she completed her doctoral internship at the University of Puget Sound’s Counseling, Health, and Wellness Services, where she worked with young adults with a wide variety of presenting problems. She also served as an advisor to several student groups, including the campus judicial board, on sexual assault prevention programs and fair treatment of sexual assault survivors.
 
Dr. Dershewitz’s clinical interests include young adult development, sexual assault treatment and prevention, healthy relationships, adoption and fertility issues, autism spectrum disorders, and the intersections of law and psychology.
 
Prior to enrolling in the Psy.D. Program, Dr. Dershewitz worked as a labor and employment lawyer.
